Position Description:

US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently seeking Data Scientists with active Top-Secret/SCI clearances to support a large project for a federal government client.

This position can be filled in Washington, DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Automate feature engineering, model training, and evaluation process.
  • Monitor, optimize, and maintain ML solutions.
  • Designing, developing, and researching Machine Learning systems and models.
  • Training and retraining ML systems and models.
  • Identifying differences in data that could affect model performance in real-world situations.
  • Design, develop & maintain ETLs to extract, transform and load the data into existing data warehouses.
  • Verifying data quality and/or ensuring it via data cleaning for accuracy and completeness.
  • Performing statistical analysis and using results to improve the models.
  • Develop production level dashboards to display trends, KPIs, and machine learning predictions.
  • Analyze complex datasets, detect trends and patterns, develop conclusions, and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and encouraging data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • Translate business needs and vision into roadmap, project deliverables & organization strategy.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Adept at picking up new tools and technologies.
  • Excellent technology communication and thought leadership skill.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work experience in applied machine learning / data science.
  • Work experience in Data related field.
  • Experience in Entity Resolution, developing and implementing methods to identify and link records across different data sources that represent the same real-world entity (e.g., person, organization, product).
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for tasks like text classification, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.
  • Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL
  • GitLab, JFROG Artifactory and Xray, Splunk, Hashicorp Vault, Boundary, Consul, Terraform,
  • Nexus, JIRA, Crucible, Jenkins, Ansible and Ansible Tower
  • Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Microsoft Windows Server and Linux

Please note that due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800.00 - $165,200.00.
