Job Description

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for a Data / BI architect with proven experience in implementingIn collaboration with business sector specialists and other technology advisors, you will be required to design, maintain and operate information systems. More specifically, your tasks will be:

• Model databases for decision support (data platform, multidimensional models, etc.)
• Model reliable and robust ETL/ELT loading processes or real-time loading of operational systems through interfaces and APIs
• Design data maps, ensure end-to-end data traceability and integrity
• Perform data profiling, data quality audits, assess feasibility and issues related to integration or decision-making
• Define functional and technical specifications related to data processing
• Define the data storage plan, migration strategy and data archiving
• Participate with other architects and analysts in the search for detailed solutions to deal with various operational situations
• Participate in establishing the delivery strategy
• in place, the operation and the evolution of data warehouses for decision support.
• Identify and assess changes in work impacts, schedule, scope and change requests

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Hold a degree in the field of information technology (software engineering or computer engineering) or any other equivalent training
• Have at least 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 5 years as a data architecture or BI solution consultant
• Practical experience with relational database tools (Microsoft, Oracle, etc.)
• Master the design and optimization of complex SQL queries
• Master classic BI approaches and management of Cloud data platforms
• Master relational and multidimensional modeling at both the logical and physical levels
• Have knowledge of modern data virtualization techniques, NoSQL, and data flows
• Have knowledge of the concepts of data governance, master data, data catalogs and data security
• Additional assets
• Fluency in English
• DevOps and Agile experience
• Knowledge of BI components in Azure (Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse).
