The Square Retail team is focused on building remarkable tools for small businesses like your local wine shop, clothing boutique or corner convenience store. Running a retail business is complex, from managing inventory to selling online, and we're committed to tackling that complexity on behalf of our sellers. We are looking for a passionate designer who is excited to create meaningful change for small business owners, giving them time back to focus on what matters most.
As a Senior Product Designer on the Retail team, you will take projects from beginning to end and create vision work to inform the product roadmap. You will design solutions that enable small business owners with complex item catalogs to more efficiently run and grow their business with Square.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and adjacent design teams to deliver remarkable solutions that are tailored to retailers and integrate seamlessly with the Square platform. You will report to the Retail Design Lead.
We are aiming to build a design team that mirrors the inclusivity of the Square seller community and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. We also welcome you to share any personal experiences that inform your empathy for our sellers, including firsthand experience in hospitality.
