Job Description

Throughout your internship, you’ll work alongside several IT professionals applying technology to seek significant business scenarios. Our company has a dynamic information technology environment, demonstrating technologies such as data science, robotic process automation, Agile/DevOps, and the cloud for Infrastructure as a Service. You will become a member of a team such as Innovation Lab, Application Development, Information Security, Database Administration, Technical Services, Desktop Support, or Network Services. You have opportunities to work directly on impactful solutions.

Our IT teams align with all facets of the business. We use a combination of purchased software (both cloud and hosted on premise), internally developed applications and infrastructure (cloud and on-prem) to support Investment Management, Sales, Client Servicing, and Corporate Functions.

Here are some things we’re looking for in our next intern:

• You are a rising Junior or Senior in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or related major or focus of study

• Effective analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accuracy

• You have steadfast ethical standards and integrity

• Cloud (AWS)

• data engineering (query, SQL, DBMS familiarity)

• Data Science-ML (algorithms, ML libraries, techniques such as EDA, feature development and simplification)

• GenAI (prompt engineering, embedding, system prompts)

• ML Engineering (Operations and monitoring, metrics and model evaluations, training and model serving)

• Languages (python, SQL, JavaScript)

Internship Structure:

• 10 Week Program

• 40 hours a week, between 8am-5pm CST

• Location: Kansas City, MO

Additional Requirements:

Employees are required to be in the office on a scheduled frequency. Adherence to this schedule is essential to fulfilling the expectations of the role.
