Manager, Insights Delivery for Merchandising at Nordstrom

Role Overview
As the Manager, Merchandising Analytics, you will lead a team of talented analysts to develop and implement strategies that enhance our merchandising capabilities. This role is critical in fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the merchandising organization by ensuring that the team has the tools, support, and best practices needed to deliver impactful insights. You will partner closely with merchandising leaders to drive initiatives that optimize product assortment, pricing, and inventory management, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and business performance.

Experience:
Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in extracting data using SQL from relational databases (Big Query, Amazon Redshift, Oracle, Teradata preferred).
Best Practices & Agile Development:
Strong understanding of BI best practices, alerting, monitoring, A/B testing, and production support.
Experience with agile methodologies, such as SCRUM or Kanban.

Washington: $141,000 - $258,000 Annually
