The Data Analyst 3 role on the Fulfilment & Returns & Store Operations Analytics team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to improve decision making to unlock Enterprise Insights. This individual should have a high degree of curiosity about the business and the skills to discover impactful insights from data. They should be able to communicate those insights in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive business value.

A day in the life…

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define success and develop measurement frameworks.
  • Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights on business vertical performance through hypothesis testing.
  • Responsible for delivering a suite of analytical products include analyses, dashboards, insights, and recommendations.
  • Present the results to the stakeholders up to executive level and guide them to make the best use of analytics in their domain.
  • Own the definition and implementation of new metrics.
  • Find opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Deliver high quality solutions and recommendations to a variety of problems both independently and through the collaboration with team members and business partners to drive outcomes.
  • Collaborate and partner with Data Engineers in the team, Business, Product Management to achieve the desired results
  • Bring data to life through storytelling in a clear and meaningful way to audiences with mixed levels of technical expertise.
  • Reconcile divergent demands from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Mentor more junior team members on analytics, storytelling and communication best practices.
  • Use advanced analytical and statistical practices to create thorough and actionable insights.
  • Collect data to analyze, execute and measure the customer analysis, marketing campaigns, merchandise and digital experience analysis.
  • Actively collaborate to apply learning to other channels/campaigns/products/business units.

You own this if you have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field; advanced quantitative degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
  • Strong coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (R or Python preferred) to import, summarize, and analyze data
  • 3+ years of experience in extracting & manipulating large data sets from various relational databases using SQL (Amazon Redshift, Oracle, Teradata preferred)
  • Experience with statistical and machine learning algorithms to address a business question from analysis through insights delivery (e.g. regression, classification and/or clustering)
  • Strong proficiency with advanced graphics/visualization software/packages (e.g. R-Shiny, ggplot, plotly, matplotlib, Tableau, Data Studio)
  • View creation joining multiple tables across domains and improve performance of views
  • Clear and effective written/verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop strong, synergistic relationships with a multitude of teams and personnel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Can complete ambiguous projects independently
  • Plan out the priority order of tasks
  • Find the right resources to complete the tasks
  • Make smart decisions regarding trade-offs
