Job Description

With a passion for exceeding customer needs and developing world class software you will work with our software leaders to develop a compelling vision and plan for the Fluence OS User Interface app. We anticipate continuous development of features and functionality in the coming years, bringing value to our customers and enabling new, innovative controls applications of our business needs. You will play a critical role embedding agile development/deployment practices, supporting our software leader. In conjunction with development partners, you will coordinate status reporting to senior leadership, and ensure up to date state, quality, and scope information as available.

Responsibilities:

• Development: Design efficient and user-friendly UI using React.js, Next.js, and other relevant frameworks.
• Collaboration: Engage closely with API developers, Product Owners, data scientists, product managers, and subject matter experts to influence the company's evolution and the electricity grid's future.
• Code Management: Write code, conduct tests, create prototypes, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate and address bottlenecks.
• Design Input: Participate actively in design discussions, offering key insights to guide technical decisions.
• Documentation: Establish and document best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript.
• At least 6 years of experience in developing Single Page applications that involve data presentation with various charts.
• Proficiency in adhering to coding standards and guidelines.
• Expertise in static code analysis, unit testing, and other best practices ensuring high-quality code delivery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CSS, HTML, API integration, and Performance tuning of web pages
• .Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Familiarity with performance testing frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with CI/CD build pipelines.
• Experience using Ubuntu as a development environment.
• Knowledge of Dockers and Ubuntu development environment.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelors in computer science or a related field is preferred.
• AWS certifications will be considered an added advantage.
