Job Description

This role provides critical comprehensive organizational support for the Data & AI organization, with a focus on leadership enablement, people & culture initiatives, and organizational health. The ideal candidate will provide high-level support to leadership, handling their day-to-day operational needs while driving people & culture initiatives to champion a positive and inclusive work environment. They will develop and implement programs to improve organizational health and employee engagement, coordinate and facilitate leadership development and team-building activities, and handle internal communications to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization. The role involves planning and executing key organizational events, from all-employee meetings to team off-sites. Acting as a liaison between leadership and various teams, the successful candidate will ensure effective information flow, supervise and report on key organizational health metrics, and identify and implement standard processes for organizational effectiveness and employee wellbeing. This position requires an empathetic and thorough professional with excellent interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships across all levels of the organization, possessing strong project management abilities, and having a passion for crafting a positive workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting organizational efforts focused on improving leadership, culture and organizational health for the Chief Data & AI Officer. The position entails interacting with the Vice President/Director leadership teams to drive completion of initiatives aimed at improving overall organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Data & AI Operations Senior Manager and the Chief Data & AI Officer's Executive Assistant to ensure comprehensive meeting preparation. This includes developing a detailed understanding of each meeting's requirements, such as relevant topics, appropriate speakers, vital materials, and expected outcomes. Facilitate effective follow-up by handling detailed note-taking and action item tracking.
  • Provide strategic advisement by identifying, evaluating and analyzing critical priorities by partnering with teams to collect program information.
  • Make recommendations to the Senior VP of opportunities on specific programs based on individual involvement and observations, and be a catalyst for action by identifying needed changes and driving next steps until issue is resolved.
  • Identify and propose solutions regarding obstacles or issues while understanding their financial impact on the business and experience for our customers and/or employees.
  • Find innovative ways and solutions to problems; Simplify and communicate sophisticated problems through clear communication, useful tools and detailed metrics that the field can implement, take action on or lead changes in behavior.
  • Serve as a consulting and subject matter expert on enterprise-wide projects by contributing and identifying gaps to drive a better outcome through knowledge and experiences.
  • Act as a conduit of current information and feedback between Senior VP and department leaders by planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals from beginning to end.
  • Support the Data & AI Operations Sr. Manager with ad hoc asks such as constructing executive-level (SLT) presentations that require breaking down sophisticated information into a clear, concise and decision-impacting manner.
  • Analyze product & engineering team progress and interpret in a way that is detailed, and easy to understand so that Senior Vice President can understand key takeaways.
  • Facilitate productive strategic discussions, leadership meetings and planning sessions to ensure the purpose and objectives are met.
  • Compose Senior Vice President communication and recognition to the organization; Drive metric methodology, supervise data and analyze final results.
  • Foster professional growth and mentoring in others through best practice sharing, development or feedback such as challenging others to think strategically and get results.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Work Experience:

  • Proven experience in Operations environment.
  • 2-3 years of Business / Strategy consulting

Base Pay Range: $84,800 - $152,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
