Job Description

The T-Ads team is charged with building a new, outstanding ads organization to establish T-Mobile as the premiere platform for advertiser partners, and to drive advertising revenue. The measurement team is responsible for building audience insights and measurement solutions from the ground up, partnering closely with data science, consumer insights, product, and sales to understand core customer needs and develop both foundational and innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on test and learn solutions e.g. Brand Effectiveness, Incremental lift (online sales, offline-sales, in-store foot traffic, etc.).
  • Manage team and implement day-to-day effectiveness study execution process with 3rd party vendors from end-to-end e.g. sales request, vendor intake, survey drafting (if applicable), analysis, report creation, and presentation.
  • Synthesize measurement output and tell a comprehensive story.
  • Develop advertiser and category-specific learning agendas & playbooks for T-Mobile.
  • Consult with sales and advertiser clients on KPIs and make measurement recommendations that will help optimize their media plans on T-Mobile.
  • Develop case studies from ongoing and completed analyses.
  • Own specific measurement verticals (e.g., location partners) and be the SME, including understanding market trends and preferences, identifying which product offerings best fit the TMS strategy, negotiating contracts, and managing the cross-functional aspects of campaigns measured.
  • Work with existing partner teams to identify, test, and leverage existing complementary and contributory data, data science, and platform capabilities to aid in product and platform development.
  • Collaborate with sales teams in defining strategic partnerships in advertising measurement, define use cases and KPIs relevant to successful campaign measurement.
  • Build partnership strategies and priorities to align with market trends and client priorities.
  • Support new partnership launches including market positioning, packaging, price tiering, target customer identification, and ongoing customer feedback Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business, Communications, Technology field (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 7+ years advertising technology and digital marketing measurement experience
  • 5+ Years partnership, strategic development and/or partner management experience
  • 4-7 years Experience managing and leading employees

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Dual TV/Video and digital experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in efficiency or causal measurement such as Incremental lift, Brand lift, Geo lift, Matched Market testing, Multi-Cell testing, A/B testing.
  • Self-starter with expertise in managing large-scale, complex projects.
  • Solid understanding of the advertising landscape, across all kinds of media channels and methods of buying.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Understanding of the consumer’s voice and how to turn that into actionable insights.
  • A strong business partner to other cross-functional teams and a leader who can prioritize multiple projects.
  • Collaborates effectively and embraces differing perspectives and experiences to make better decisions.
  • Experienced and at ease with diverse cultures.
  • Digital media measurement methodologies: Subject expert with attribution methodologies (MTA, MMM, test/control, etc.), A/B testing, demographic modeling, deterministic vs. probabilistic data layering
  • Data analysis and visualization software: Proficiency with one or more BI tools such as Domo, Looker, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx
  • Programmatic ad buying: SME in the programmatic advertising ecosystem
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $142,800 - $257,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
