Job Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Data Governance Engineer to support a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting the creation of data governance and policy. In this role, you will work closely with government customers and IT developers to establish governance best practices.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in data science data governance best practices, and an understanding of data analytics or data management.
• Have an extensive background in the Intelligence Community.
• Be a strategic thinker and familiar with organizational change.
• Possess excellent communication and writing skills.
• Have extensive customer engagement and stakeholder management experience.
• Have experience in forward-leaning environments with the ability to recommend necessary improvements to achieve the customer’s vision.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required
• Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years or more of related experience; Master's and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
• 5+ years’ experience within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI
• 5 plus years of experience in data governance and policy
• Experience with data analytics or data management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Stakeholder Management
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced mission environment which requires balancing competing priorities and schedules
