Job Description

Anaconda is seeking a talented Director of Product, Anaconda Core to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. As our Director of Product, Anaconda Core you will be involved in overseeing the development and management of Anaconda's public package repository, the Anaconda distribution, our contributions to the conda project, and our custom package business. This role will have a combination of strategic planning, product management, partner management, and team leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the team accountable for distribution, package building, package repository, and presentation of the Anaconda Distribution to customers
• Responsible for our Anaconda Embedded product offering and partnerships
• Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers to grow our distribution business
• Define and execute the strategy for Anaconda Python and R packages and repositories
• Engage with our community of open source conda contributors to solidify conda as the premier tool for environment and package management in AI
• Manage strategic partnerships with hardware and platform partners to build and maintain customized conda packages
• Represent our package ecosystem as a business to the company, Set the organizations KPIs and OKRs.

What You Need:

• Leadership / people management experience
• 8+ Years of product management experience
• Technical background or undergraduate degree
• Understanding of how the open source software ecosystem works
• Team attitude: “I am not done until WE are done”
