About the Role

  • Responsible for collecting and analysing data, running various calculations to determine how the data might be applied to meet the needs of our business. This person also evaluates risk by utilizing statistical data to determine risk potential.
  • All aspects involved in program management function from cradle to grave.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members in all functional departments to collect and categorize requirements to develop Templates for business KPIs and reporting. Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns. Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine-learning techniques
  • Data mining using state-of-the-art methods. Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems. Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance. Present information using data visualization techniques. Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges. Develop interactive dashboard to monitor core KPIs using Power BI or other tools to provide live visual shop floor Data
  • Responsible for promoting and seeking excellence in all aspects of business. Participates in continuous improvement activities, submits Cost saving improvement suggestions, CIP’s. Manage multiple projects and deliverables while treating team members with dignity and respect and in accordance with the Magna Employee’s Charter and Common Values. Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to including IATF16949, ISO14001 (EMS), and Employee Handbook.
  • Follows MIOSHA and MPTSH safety regulations and policies, including wearing required P.P.E. (Personal Protective Equipment). Excellent communication skills with both internal and external sources. Teamwork and strong organizational skills required. Must possess the ability to pay attention to detail, ability to ensure data is precise

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Management, natural sciences, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis or similar study (IT). Master degree in Information Management is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent software skills including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, AS400, Power BI, Oracle AI etc. Strong problem solving, analysis and math skills is required
  • Must possess the knowledge to create programs, database tracking sheets, and reporting systems
  • Must possess an understanding of an ERP system in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience with Sequel Server databases and Relational Database Management

Your preferred qualifications

  • Language Skills: Requires extensive tact and communication skills (verbal and written) for direct customer communication. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate basic math, understanding of decimals, ability to add, subtract and multiply.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use problem solving when presented with problems or duties that do not have immediate answers or results.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have in depth knowledge and experience with CMS – ERP System, AS400, Power BI, Oracle AI, Microsoft Office including Access
