What you can expect

In this role you are part of Magna Powertrain global’s IT innovation and digitalization team and you are responsible for establishing cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Machine Learning and other new IT innovations within Magna Powertrain all around the world.

The following tasks could be part of your daily work:

  • Project/program management in the context of digitalization, smart factory & industry 4.0
  • Planning and execution of pilot projects with cross-functional teams under consideration of time, cost and quality
  • Coordination of internal and external partners and suppliers
  • Support of Magna's international digitalization strategy
  • Rollout of digitalization solutions in international Magna plants & engineering sites
  • Requirements engineering, definition and implementation of digitalization standards
  • Promotion of a digital culture and change within the company

What you bring along

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Innovation Management, Computer Science, Informatics or comparable course of studies
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in an IT role at a manufacturing site or development center
  • Good knowledge of and experience with Databases (SQL), Analytics & Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBI), Cloud (Azure, Aws), Process Modeling & Mining Tools (Celonis), Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning or Augmented Reality
  • Project Management Skills and experience with process optimization and change management
  • Analytical and strategic mindset
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Readiness to travel app. 5 – 10% regional in Europe and globally

Commitment and qualification are valued by us and we take into account national salary benchmarks.

In Austria we are obligated to state a minimum salary, which here in Austria would amount to minimum € 53.000 gross per year (basis: 38.5 hours per week).
