Job Description

We are looking for versatile and hardworking Senior Software Test Development Engineer to join the Embedded Quality Assurance group. This position will be part of a multifaceted crew that test and maintains the quality of sophisticated computing systems that power innovative embedded products used in domains like Artificial Intelligence, Retail, healthcare, Media, Finance etc. Role of the Engineer will be to develop and complete exploratory and automated tests to ensure embedded systems SW/HW stack meet high standards of quality.

As a member of this core team, you will be working with highly hardworking and motivated engineers. This role will also require to frequently harmonise with module leads & release managers.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement tests for high computing platforms and embedded devices.

• Build test strategy, detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on high level customer requirement.

• Identify, record, document, and regress internal and external filed bugs.

• Participate in review and influence product feature requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

• Working closely with various team including project management, hardware, and software developers, provide technical analysis of the Top Bugs filed and periodically publish statistical data reports to all stake-holders.

• Application development, test tools development and automation of tests on embedded/X86 platform using Nvidia Test framework.

What we need to see:

• Tech. or equivalent degree in CS/CE/IT/ECE/EEE.

• 3+ year’s hands on testing experience in complete embedded software stack.

• Work experience in testing speech Engines like Automatic Speech recognition, Natural Language Understanding and Speech Synthesis (TTS).

• Work Experience on Video/Audio Analytics Algorithms like Face Detection/Speech Detection and knowledge on Parameters impacting Video/Audio quality.

• Knowledge of Cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure and Nvidia GPU Cloud.

• Good debugging skills. Able to understand different logs and root cause the issue.

• Any one Scripting language (Python, bash, Perl) knowledge is preferred - able to write logical scripts/code from scratch.

• Experience to use Configuration Management tools (Git, Perforce) and Agile scrum tools (JIRA, JAMA).

• Ability to self-manage, show leadership, good analytical skill and communicate well and should be an excellent teammate, with passion towards new technology/trends.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Any certification course on Machine learning.

• Knowledge of deployment technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• C++ coding experience. Understand the large C++ project code and derive functional/unit test.
