Job Description

NVIDIA has become the platform upon which every new AI-powered application is built. From healthcare research applications to autonomous vehicles, or voice-recognition systems, the need for sophisticated perception and cognitive capabilities is exploding... and NVIDIA is right in the center of this revolution! We are looking for a Product Management Intern for Autonomous Vehicle development tooling to help build our next-generation development tools and AI infrastructure software. Our AV development tools are used by software engineers, data scientists, and operations personnel to build and validate AVs with superhuman levels of safety. You will be collaborating with engineering and product design teams to create and improve these tools to make our users more productive and effective.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop a product vision to encourage your team along with the product strategy to get there
  • Bring the product and user perspective when collaborating with engineers and researchers to craft software systems for the end customer
  • Collect requirements for new products through competitive analysis and customer feedback
  • Define use cases, examples, and communication tools to convey the product value proposition to a variety of audiences ranging from the technically savvy to the novice
  • Drive the new product introduction process and support product transitions
  • Educate current and potential customers and evangelize the product
  • Develop and review customer-ready collateral based on engineering or technical documents. E.g., Whitepapers, Product Specifications, etc.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a Master’s degree (MS or MBA), with a formerly acquired technical background in software engineering or similar
  • Prior or current full-time work experience outside of school (and externships/internships) at a technology company, in a technology role, or working on a technology product
  • Strong analytical, marketing, and project management skills - a drive for results and a history of successful execution on projects
  • Proficient in both business strategy and engineering concepts
  • Self-starter with a hands-on demeanor who can be effective in a multifaceted environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Passion for building compelling products/technologies

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Previous experience working on autonomous vehicles, robotics, or other similar applications
  • Previous product management experience

The hourly rate for our interns is 50 USD - 83 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
