Job Description

NVIDIA is hiring outstanding Interns to work in its HPC Visualization team. Scientific visualization is evolving rapidly with the recent advances in rendering algorithms, display technology, supercomputer architectures, and the application of cloud computing. In addition, the rise of cognitive capabilities thanks to advances in machine learning have enabled entirely novel approaches to visualization of largest-scale datasets. In this internship, you will have an opportunity to contribute to this revolution.

What you will be doing:

  • Research and develop techniques to fully apply the power of GPUs to accelerate scientific visualization applications.
  • Develop technologies to enable scientists to benefit from scientific visualization on GPU accelerated supercomputers and cloud platforms.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong fundamentals in scientific computing and visualization
  • Programming proficiency in C/C++ and Python with a deep understanding of software design, programming techniques, and algorithms.
  • You have experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA and/or OpenACC
  • Strong communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills.
