Job Description

NVIDIA is hiring a SoC & Advanced Computing Platforms Innovation Intern to drive and scale its platform product portfolio to offer exciting solutions in the mobile computing space. We are looking for special individuals with passion and desire to deliver innovative products and solutions. Together, we will build the next generation of life changing Mobile Platforms to enhance man-machine interaction and enrich daily productivity cycles. Then we will apply it to other applications such as In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Virtual Reality (VR), healthcare, data science, immersive gaming, exceptional content creation and more. If you are a motivated individual that understands how systems and platforms are architected and built, have intimate knowledge about various types of mobile displays development requirements, design enabling interactions and nuances of customization, this is your place to be.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate closely with our Systems Principal Architects on groundbreaking embedded computing technologies for specialized System on Chip (SoC) and advanced computing platforms.

• Assist in the documentation and development of multifaceted solutions, including audio-visual capabilities, data storage, power efficiency, security features, and system management.

• Contribute to firmware and software support, and assist with customizations specific to various partner requirements.

• Gather data and insights for a better understanding of future trends, interests, and feature enhancements from various stakeholders.

• Broadly contribute to advance the capabilities of our customer reference boards and the overall experience for computing; demonstrating your thorough understanding of the creator, gaming or AI developer segments

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, system, and software engineers.

What we need to see:

• Pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a Bachelor degree with some familiarity in system/platform architecture, power management, and power modeling.

• Experience facilitating design collaterals, power & thermal management, SoC/platform power rollups, scenario-based power assessments.

• Modeling experience using Industry Standard tools and standard benchmarks to guide internal data collection.

• Experience being in the lab for implementing new use case models.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

• Experience in advanced computing hardware and software to produce digital content or solutions. This can span a wide range of activities, from graphic design, 3D modeling, and video editing to AI research, data science, and software development

The hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
