As the new member of Robinhood's Marketing Technology team, you'll play a key role in helping us build and support a world class Marketing Technology stack.

Our mission is to enhance, build and transform systems for the global Marketing organization. With product and engineering, we are building a best-in-class, privacy-first martech stack from the ground up.

Performance marketers, lifecycle marketers and the global Marketing organization will be your customers. You’ll work to understand what they need to drive KPIs across Acquisition, Activation, Engagement and Retention. You’ll meet those needs by building or extending martech capabilities with the help of product, engineering, data engineering and data science teams.

As a Marketing Technology Manager, you will be the subject matter expert for:

  • Collection, storage, and usability of marketing data
  • Data movement from storage to channel destinations and capabilities
  • Data infrastructure that enables all of marketing’s customer segmentation

Examples of projects you’ll work on include:

  • Implementation and maintenance of regulatory compliant and privacy-first marketing database
  • Building out a complex multivariate experimentation infrastructure for the lifecycle team
  • Creating faster experiment loops with self-serve analytics and dashboards
  • Adding new and optimizing existing performance marketing pipelines using our customer data platform
  • Deliver new segmentation capabilities using first and third party data

What you’ll do

  • Improve the user experience of Robinhood marketers by understanding their requirements and working with tech & vendor teams to deliver the right iterations at scale
  • Scoping new technologies or projects that significantly modify the way we use data on marketing and how it flows through our platforms.
  • Building tech specs and business cases to align cross functional stakeholders around our shared goals
  • Driving the process for new vendor technologies including driving build vs buy and build and buy decisions.
  • Ultimately responsible for the hygiene and health status of our core technology platforms.
  • Measure the impact and usage of our marketing technology platforms
  • Championing the needs of our customers in cross-functional tech areas like data privacy and preferences technology
  • Anchoring our team with a tech POV in advanced topics like experimentation, incrementality, MTA, permissioning, data philosophy, architecture, data flows, project management.
  • Be a strong customer champion for our marketing stakeholders
  • Be a creative problem solver

What you bring

  • 4-5+ years of professional work experience in marketing technology, digital product development or implementation
  • Knowledge and experience across the marketing technology stack. Examples include, but not limited to CRM, CDP, MMP, Analytics, and model-driven targeting
  • Ability to break down complex concepts so that they’re simple, clear, and human
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Data-driven approach to your work and decision-making
  • Qualitative analytical ability and familiarity with A/B testing
  • Experience with analysis and data tools (SQL, Tableau, etc.)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing (product marketing, lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, etc.)
  • Brokerage and/or Crypto experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Experience with marketing strategy, including opportunity assessment, customer segmentation and message testing
  • Track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Hands-on, high capacity doer, multi-tasker with strong ownership mentality

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$136,000—$160,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$120,000—$141,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL)

$106,000—$125,000 USD
