Position Overview

Working in the logistics domain is working in a fast-moving environment of transport, warehouse and trade compliance activities. You will report to the Director Supply Chain and Logistics. You will setup the Axelera AI trade compliancy, logistic footprint and are responsible for the seamless execution towards customers. You will be crucial to determine the right priorities and mitigate risks in the logistics domain.

Responsibilities:

• Logistics Infrastructure Development and Maintenance:

Strategize and establish the logistics footprint for the company. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain efficient logistics systems. Implement best practices and innovative approaches to optimize logistics operations.

• Performance Oversight and Control:

Monitor and manage logistics operations using a defined set of key performance metrics. Regularly assess performance against established benchmarks and KPIs. Identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions to ensure operational efficiency.

• Trade Compliance Management:

Develop and enforce compliance protocols related to trade regulations and policies. Stay updated on evolving trade laws and ensure adherence across logistics processes. Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and minimize risks.

• Import and Export Process Ownership:

Take charge of import and export procedures, including documentation and customs requirements. Streamline processes to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods across borders. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any import/export-related issues.

• Logistics Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments within the logistics domain. Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities; implement proactive mitigation strategies. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen logistics challenges.

• Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in logistics operations. Engage with teams to implement innovative solutions and optimize workflows. Evaluate existing processes and introduce enhancements for increased robustness and efficiency.

Your profile:

• You have a sustainable multiple year track record in building and/or improving logistics in an international market environment, preferably the semiconductor industry
• You have experience facilitating insource-outsource dilemma’s
• You have experience managing a value-added warehouse and/or 3rd party logistics service provider
• In depth knowledge of trade compliancy and import and export requitements, preferably in the electronic industry
• You thrive in a face-paced, distributed working environment constantly overachieving your target quota, flexibility and willingness to ‘do what it takes’ will determine your success
• You are obsessed with growing business, having the ambition to make a substantial impact in the world
• You are obsessed with delivering an excellent customer satisfaction
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
