Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Reporting Manager, reporting to the CFO of Axelera AI. You will run a team of 4 people, including yourself, to develop our financial reporting and control as our organization gears towards future growth.

Location

Ideally you are located close to our HQ in Eindhoven. Remote work from other areas in the Netherlands visiting the office 2 days per week can be discussed.

Key responsibilities:

• Accounting – Take full ownership and responsibility of accounting. Ensuring all the business transactions are recorded timely and accurately in the accounting system (NetSuite).
• Accounts Payable – Manage this, including ensuring correct purchase orders are created with appropriate account codes/classifications, entering invoices into Netsuite, organising bank payments according to terms and resolving any vendor queries. Ensure that payroll accounting is smooth and accurate.
• Accounts Receivable – Manage this, including ensuring correct invoices are sent, COGS are charged correctly and included in NetSuite, chasing debtors and making provisions for doubtful debtors.
• Cash management – Ensure weekly bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations are performed. Ensure cash is optimally managed over multiple currencies.
• Reporting – Ensure that group reporting deadlines and deliverables are met with regard to reports to management, investors and externals (e.g. banks, grants etc). Prepare/support VAT returns in all the countries we are in. Prepare/Support annual corporation tax returns. Prepare annual accounts filing as required by the Dutch authorities. Support external and internal audits.
• Other – Support forecasting and budgeting processes. Support fundraising and any other ad hoc requests as directed by senior management.

Your profile:

• University Degree in Finance (or qualification as a Register Accountant) plus minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in Dutch and English (written & spoken)
• Advanced level in Excel
• Expert user of NetSuite (Oracle) is a plus
