The Vice President, Product & Innovation within our Care Transition Platform business will be responsible for leading all product activities (e.g., product roadmaps, operations, innovation design, release management, customer feedback forums, etc) and associated outcomes (e.g., utilization, satisfaction, investment ROI, etc.) through leadership of the core product functions – Product Management, Product Operations, and Innovation. This leader will also work closely with Customer Strategy & Engagement and Sales leadership to ensure the voice of the customer influences our product development and growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the executive leader of the Product organization within CTP responsible for product management, product operations and innovation, all driving towards user-centric product design and rapid delivery
  • Champion an Agile Product Development Life Cycle approach in coordination with Engineering leadership
  • Oversee the development and management of near-term and long-term (multi-year) product roadmaps, as well as their underlying visions, strategies and business cases
  • Oversee engagement with customers and users, the assessment and gathering of market feedback and continuous product improvement efforts, all of which are to be a cadenced design as a part of the Product operating model
  • Oversee technical product development while developing a highly collaborative relationship with Engineering to minimize waste and accelerate value for customer delivery
  • Oversee a large capital and operating budget ensuring a high return-on-investment for all product investments
  • Assess and identify technology capabilities that address key market opportunities within the context of care transitions and/or fringe innovation
  • Develop and implement product and technology-related strategies to maximize company revenue, profit and/or meet long-term business objectives
  • Establish a market-facing presence with growing expertise in the care transition space to support the naviHealth brand and growth initiatives
  • Maintain deep connectivity with internal and external customers and the company’s broader market, in order to optimally shape plans and action
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing Product organization that continues to meet and exceed the evolving needs of the company
  • Measure effectiveness of teams through definition of operational metrics with clear visibility
  • Inspire customer-centric product build across the company through deep collaboration and reinforcing a company-wide culture of gratitude towards our customers
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Experience, Sales and Customer Strategy & Engagement to develop customer/prospect campaigns for growth and retention
  • Enhance teams’ eeffectiveness and efficiency through new tools and technology
  • Travel requirements: moderate domestic travel (<40%)
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory and preferably in a business-related discipline
  • 15+ years’ experience in a leading SaaS organization with Product leadership responsibilities
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building
  • Deep technical and business expertise as it relates to the design and delivery of technology products and software
  • Strong empathy for customers and passion for growth
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in healthcare related field required
  • Must be highly organized and possess strong planning skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with internal and external team members
  • Must have the capacity to analyze/manage/understand big data
  • Must be process and systems oriented to lead functions optimally
  • Must be able to keep track of multiple moving parts and overlapping initiatives
  • Must be willing to get into the weeds on certain initiatives and manage others more hands off
