What you will do

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Data Science Associate to join our Data team, your responsibilities will be:

• Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets related to donor’s behavioral data, pricing optimization and retail excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales and operations.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize KPIs.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply geospatial analysis techniques and tools to leverage geographical data for pharmaceutical research and development.
• Travel frequently to various locations, including the United States, to collaborate with client and gather data for research purposes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, geospatial analysis, and pharmaceutical research to drive innovation within the organization.
• Participate in the development of data-driven strategies and solutions to address key challenges in the donor industry.

What you will bring 

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in applying machine learning algorithms to real-world problems, if possible, in the pharma world.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP):
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis tools and techniques for leveraging geographical data.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools and databases related to geospatial analysis and geographical information systems (GIS) is a plus.
