Our internships last from twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks and we have several start dates throughout the year. These positions are based in Toronto, Canada. We are open to applicants from a wide range of relevant research areas, and we are particularly interested in candidates with experience and interest in one or more of the following areas. Human-computer interaction: - Input and interaction techniques, including multimodal input and interaction personalization. - Collaborative human-machine interactions and multi-user systems, including mixed initiative interfaces and adaptive user interfaces. User learning: - Experience design for feedback and guidance. - Classification and mediation of user errors. - Fun learning of new inputs and interactions. User-centric AI and machine learning: - Human-machine interactions based on generative AI and machine learning. - AI for interface creation, personalization, collaboration and user interface generation. - Predictive modeling, computational interaction and computer vision. Sensors and Hardware: - Evaluating user experience with new wearable I/O prototypes, including hand and gesture inputs, eye tracking, and graphical, haptic, and audio feedback. - Fun learning of new inputs and interactions. Minimum Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD. | You have or are in the process of obtaining a doctorate.
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages ​​such as Python, C++, C#. | More than three years of experience in programming languages ​​such as Python, C++ and C#.
