About the Role:

As our Sales Engineer, you will directly support new and existing customer engagement as the subject matter expert in Augmedix’s ambient platform and technology. Key responsibilities include articulating the capabilities of our Notebuilder platform, scoping new or unique customer needs in relation to our current offerings, and setting clear expectations with clients on the process of implementing our solutions. This role will work closely with our sales and customer success teams on an account-by-account basis to support technology conversations at both the leadership and IT department levels. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and healthcare, who is comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Being organized and collaborating well with external partners is important to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate the technology behind Augmedix’s platform including concepts such as large language models, natural language processing, and machine learning
  • Act as a conduit between the customer and our Product & Engineering teams
  • Scope new use cases in the context of our current solutions and product roadmap
  • Set expectations with clients in regards to technical onboarding, including EHR integration and user setup
  • Setup data sharing agreements with new clients for our client analytics service
  • Act as the single point of truth for technical matters with customers and our customer-facing team members
  • Manage RFP process to support sales
  • Develop training/learning materials for non-technical Augmedix roles including Sales & Customer Success

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role and/or relevant experience
  • Experience working directly with customers on technical implementations
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Experience working with engineering and product teams
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills and ability to provide insight and thought leadership to peers and senior leadership
  • Healthcare and/or health technology experience is a plus
  • Up to 25% travel expected
