Job Description

As a Java Software Engineer, you will join a highly skilled team of SDLC professionals building new solutions for a major banking institution. You will utilize your skills, experience, and creative problem-solving abilities to support the design, architecture, and implementation of greenfield work for one of the largest and most famous financial services organizations in the country. By leveraging the most cutting-edge technology, you will work with your team to develop products that drive business within the Risk Technology domain.

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from the company's location in New York, Charlotte, or Tampa and the remainder of their time remotely.

W2 only

Required Experience

• 6+ years of software development and technical experience
• Hands-on experience with Core Java Technologies with attention to multithreading, distributed caching, & fault-tolerant logic
• Skilled at developing enterprise-grade applications using Java 8 and higher, NoSQL, Spring, and other tools
• Expert knowledge of Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud Data Flow, etc
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline for different platforms
• Demonstrated ability to utilize tools such as Maven / Jenkins / GIT
• Maintain data structure with modern data management tools
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design concepts and developing Microservices from Monolith architecture
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning distributed applications and building unit tests
• Experience in Object-Oriented Design Principles & Test-Driven Development
• Strong Analytical and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Financial Industry experience
• Experience within an Agile development methodology
• Experience with Angular framework or React library
• Experience in event-driven design of Microservices and 12-factor app development standards
• Experience building modern enterprise applications and deploying to cloud systems (AWS)
• Experience in Distributed cache systems like Apache Ignite
