Job Description

• Lead the development of innovative and/or disruptive products or solutions for both Experian and external clients from a technical point of view, but with a vision of the business impact of the solutions. 
• Lead decision making in analytical projects based on project needs and technical requirements

• Use data mining, machine learning and artificial intelligence using the state of the art of these practices 
• Use machine learning techniques to select variables and features, build and optimize classifiers 
• Develop and implement new methodologies, algorithms and models that will improve the way we leverage our data. 
• Build and test models that will then be deployed in production 
• Undertake innovative data collection methods by building information that is relevant to create analytical models. 

• Process, classify and verify data integrity for proper data analysis 
• Do additional analyzes to present the results in a clear and systematic way. 
• Work closely with the engineering team to advise on system architecture and help guide engineering priorities 
• Communicate data-driven recommendations in a concise and understandable manner 

Requirements

Technical knowledge 

• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development. 
• Experience using statistical computing languages ​​(R, Python, pyspark, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and derive insights from large data sets. 

• Experience working with and creating data architectures. 
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, text mining, social network analysis, LLMs, etc.) and their world advantages/disadvantages real 
• Knowledge of Spark for fast, distributed execution of model training 
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper use, etc.) and experience with applications. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination between teams. 

• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques 
• Experience in implementing machine learning models (MLOps) with different variants on the market, both on-premise and cloud 
• Experience using web services: AWS, etc. 
• Desirable: Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Linux, Machine learning serving
