The role sits within our Decision Analytics business, one of our four Global Business Lines.

This role is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing multiple and complex projects from concept to implementation on time, within budget and in line with client expectations.

What you’ll need to bring to the party

  • Degree or equivalent standard, with a high numeric content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics.
  • Graduate calibre, with formal project management skills/qualifications.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in credit risk modelling across customer life cycle.
  • Hand-on data processing, reporting/visualisation and modelling skill in one of the languages Python/R & SQL. 
  • Thorough understanding of the Application/Behaviour/Collection scorecard development process.
  • Thorough knowledge of the use and application of analytical methodologies Linier Regression, Logistic Regression etc.
  • Thorough understanding of segmentation techniques CHAID, CART etc.
  • Analytical Consulting experience is a plus, likely from Big 4s or other reputed consulting firms/ Working in the risk analytics (model development & Validation) of an international bank.
  • Significant experience of statistical / analytics project work.
  • Able to interpret technical features into commercial benefits.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent and proven project management skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Excellent language skills in Thai language and English (Read, write and Speak). This is a must condition for the success of this role

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop industry best practise model development/validation frameworks (IFRS9/Basel II)
  • Develop predictive models across customer life cycle- Application, Behaviour & Collection Scorecards
  • Develop data driven strategies to improve acquisition (Increase acceptance rate, Reduce Bad rate), account management (Limit increase, Activation etc) & collections
  • Expertise & willingness to perform hands-on modelling work 
  • Fluent in both Thai and English, able to translate Thai documents/conversations to English & vice versa (Must Skill) 
  • Drive high standards of customer service and proactive client communication throughout the project term
  • Proactively communicate project status and deliverables through the life of the project
  • Ensure issues raised by the client are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support the client through the project, providing guidance through project design to implementation
  • Prepare and deliver structured model development/validation training courses to the SEA clients
  • This position is based in Experian Thailand office in Bangkok or Client location as the project demands
  • This position would require working from home if the situation demands (Require fast internet connection)
  • Flexible to travel to client locations on short notice for project delivery/presales (75%)
