Job Description

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible .

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Under direct supervision, may complete scientific assignments of limited complexity.
• Work on a wide range of products, projects, and tasks.
• Perform data mining, data manipulation, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Create reusable scripts and data pipelines to automate procedures.
• Create client-facing, user-friendly dashboards, tools, and applications.
• Develop graphics, maps, reports, and presentations.
• Work on multiple projects and tasks.
• Work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
• Work closely with project team and collaborate on project scope and delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Economics, Statistics or another related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Python, R or JavaScript.
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other programs/libraries in python or R.
• Experience with database such as writing queries/scripts to retrieve or manipulate data.
• Experience working with geospatial data / GIS software.
• Experience with core Data Science skills in data engineering, machine learning methods (regression, classification etc.).
• Experience in creating interactive dashboards/ tools is a plus.
