ROLE: Azure Data Engineer(Onsite)

Qualification:

Bachelors in Science, engineering or equivalent

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[95,000– 120,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Role: Azure Data Engineer

Must Have Skills: Azure Data Factory

Good To Have Skills: Azure Data Factory, MS Power BI, Manufacturing Oper-manlog

Experience: 9 to 15yrs

Qualifications:

Primary skill as Azure Data Factory.Sr. ETL Developer who have strong development hands on ADF data modeling PowerBi

Good hands-on experience with SQL in SQL Server environment including experience in ETL using SSIS informatica Talend or any ETL platform experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Server and Azure Data Warehouse environment. Must have hand on experience with building deploying troubleshooting Data Extraction and Loading Jobs using Azure Data Factory.

Experience with writing procedures in SQLServer

Needs to have good understanding on Agile Methodology and Scrum framework.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design build and deploy effective SSIS packages Azure Data Factory Implement stored procedures and effectively query a SQL Server database Translate requirements from the business and analyst into technical code Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages Provide support and fix issues in the packages ETL/ELT Developer

Writes advanced SQL including some query tuning Good understanding on the data warehouse concepts Experience in the identification of data quality

Database design experience:

Experience designing and building complete Extract & Loading processes using ADF & Extract Tranformation & Loading processes using SSIS Knowledge of other ETL / ELT tools like Informatica Talend SSIS etc. a plus.
