Job Description

One of the new areas of development of Toloka is Human-in-the-Loop, a unique system for improving markup quality using ML algorithms. It requires the research and development of auto-tuning machine learning (AutoML), as well as finding the best ways for ML methods to interact with humans.

We need an experienced and energetic Machine Learning Engineer who will lead the technical part of this area. We have a multicultural team, that includes authors of articles for the NeurIPS, ICML conferences and inventors with international patents

Responsibilities

• develop mechanisms to improve the work of tolokers (freelancers of our platform) by creating deep learning models;
• build DL-models that work in different domains and with different taxonomy;
• explore and find ways to retrain models without forgetting previous data;
• maintain and develop the infrastructure for the operation of such models;
• solve tasks related to the processing of big data;
• help developers structure their work and choose technical ways to solve complex tasks;
• build the architecture of the retraining system for ML-models.

Requirements

• the availability of higher technical, physical and mathematical or natural science education;
• well versed in mathematics and algorithms;
• ability to program well in Python or SQL to implement algorithms and conduct experiments;
• have a good understanding of ML and DL;
• know how to defend your own point of view and hear other people's points of view in a reasonable and accessible way.
