6 Months Internship

Edwards Lifesciences is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart diseases.

We are looking for a talented student to join the R&D team to support and take a role in developing new technologies for cardiovascular access.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing development for transcatheter devices to help cardiovascular patients, you will understand the need and the operating environment (Anatomy and Cath lab) as well as the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

What you’ll do:

• The role mainly involves testing of new technology for cardiovascular treatment, and supporting the design of a novel device
• Lab models development to simulate anatomy and device interaction
• Adapting the device to different medical indication, and procedure development
• A technical position that includes teamwork with clin dev, Quality, and R&D in Israel and US

What we’re looking for:

• 3rd or 4th year BSc Biomedical engineering student
• Technical Hands-On oriented and good 3D perception
• Independent with self-learning ability
• Full proficiency in MS office
• Fluent English (oral and written)
• Available for at least 50% position (Flexibility to increase hours during academic vacations)
