What you'll do:

We are seeking a deep learning intern to support our data-centric AI efforts. As a deep learning intern, you will help us to build and manage data operations including but not limited to selection, curation, augmentation, annotation (auto/semi-auto/manual). You will be responsible for working closely with engineers to drive the technical road map of data operations that supports internal development of autonomy system.

• Work with teams responsible for autonomy to analyze, select, and augment enterprise-scale data sets.
• Design and implement data selection algorithms using various techniques and industry-standard tools and processes.
• Expand knowledge of big data technologies and the use of cloud platforms for modeling and analytics.
• Work with third parties to ensure quality of manual annotation of self-driving car dataset.
• Deploy and manage data pipelines on cloud.

Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship. 

Must be willing to be based locally in Stuttgart, Germany for duration of the internship. The position is hybrid (part of time working from office and part time working from home).

What you'll need to succeed:

• Full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Linux platforms
• Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
• Software development experience
• Familiarity with one or more high-level languages: C/C++, Python
• Familiarity with Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience in self-driving car industry
• Enthusiasm to take on new challenges and learn new skills
• Willingness to work in an international team
