Your Team

You will join our Simulation Team, where we build the simulation infrastructure required to test and develop our OS; enabling increased safety, speed and deployment validation. You’ll be aligned with a specific workstream, focused on building and deploying planning and control system algorithms.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer you will:

• Develop frameworks for simulation testing. You’ll interface with the simulation and QA teams to define the interfaces at the right level and build the required frameworks to be used in the QA simulation scenarios.
• Integrate the Simulation scenarios in CI with multiple cadences/pipelines.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation) testing, building workflows that are repeatable and reliable.
• Design how the simulation scenarios link to the requirements they satisfy.

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

• Experience with C++ (14/17/20) software development - Intermediate
• Demonstrable experience of working with complex hardware and software systems and their validation
• Working in a CI/CD environment

Extra kudos:

• Experience with ASIL standards
• Worked with safety critical systems
• An understanding of simulation tools
• Worked with advanced control systems
• An understanding of robotics
