Job Description

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in King's Central Insights team, providing and driving game analytics and modeling. This is a more technical data science role, that will require you to use your strong programming skills and understanding of data engineering to extract insights from complex digital data. You will work closely with our senior data scientists and other teams such as product development, finance, and strategy to optimize game performance, improve player experience, and contribute to strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including finance and strategy, to understand company needs and devise possible solutions by interpreting data.
• Execute complex quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights.
• Write robust, efficient, and maintainable data extraction and processing scripts.
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
• Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems.
• Work closely with the data engineering teams to strategize and execute the development of data resources, gather and maintain the data pipeline.
• Present complex results to technical and non- technical stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be a plus.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL are a must.
• Experience with machine learning models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Experience in a mobile gaming company would be an added benefit.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex findings to non- technical stakeholders.
