We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Data Science team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in using data to make informed decisions, understand player behaviour, and enhance the overall gaming experience for our users.

You will work closely with cross- disciplined teams, including product managers, developers and designers to leverage data and advanced analytics techniques to extract insights, identify trends, and make recommendations that enhance the player experience and drive business growth. Your expertise in visualisation and dashboard creation will contribute to the development and continuous improvement Farm Heroes as a game.

Specifically, you will:

• Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify important business questions and turn them into data analysis tasks.
• Translate business needs to technical and AB test requirements. Work with development teams to ensure correct implementation and event tracking. Work together with Data Scientists in the analysis of AB tests.
• Collaborate closely with producers and developers to define and design tests that facilitate data- driven decision making.
• Carefully check and problem solve issues to ensure the correct operations of the game, even when confronted by subtle data complications
• Provide a business analytical perspective to discussions and help to drive the priorities within your game
• Create dashboards using python libraries like Streamlit, Plotly, Dash to present data- driven insights to team members across the game.

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for quantitative analysis, understanding player behaviour and will have the ability to draw business insights which will add real value to King.

You will also need to demonstrate your ability to learn quickly and enjoy working in a fast- paced and collaborative environment. This role will involve working with teams and individuals across King - such as Game Developers, Producers and Game Artists, so broad communication skills are essential.

You need to be proficient in the following key skills:

• Product insight: You are capable of decipher data to gain deep understanding of game mechanics and impacts on player behaviour to solve business problems such as: feature implementation and optimisations, player economy optimisation, main metric shift, tracking bugs, marketing impact.
• Data Storytelling: Superb communication and presentation skills, and ability to effectively convey complex findings to colleagues of different technical proficiency.
• Technical skills: You can extract, manipulate and visualise data using different tools. You also have an understanding of applied statistics. We make intensive usage of SQL and the Python analytical stack, so having prior experience in these domains is required. Experience with building interactive dashboards, preferably using Streamlit would be an advantage.
