THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • Must be highly curious, driven, and disciplined
  • Understanding of data models, data warehouses, and data mining
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense)
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is required
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

Specific Measures of Success - Expected Outcomes:

  • Successfully complete Qlik to Tableau migration by end of Q1
  • Become point-of-contact for deployment of new Tableau data sources
  • Become thought leader for data visualization best practices
  • Migrate tableau infrastructure to data warehouse

Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

Experience:

  • Industry experience is beneficial

Location: Remote

Frequency of travel: Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training and/or conferences.

Light physical activities and efforts required in working within an office environment.

BI Architect should have a thorough understanding of business analysis, data analysis, data modeling, and data architecture. They should demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills. Keen business acumen and problem-solving aptitude are a plus. Ultimately, they will work with product owners, corporate leadership, and other members of the D&A team to develop business intelligence solutions. Candidates should have education and/or equivalent experience in data modeling and analytics. Experience with BI applications is required.
