OpenX is looking for talented and highly motivated software engineers to help us innovate and improve our products. You will work closely with the OpenX Data Science team to find areas where machine learning and other techniques can be applied to directly improve profitability and efficiency. You will work with huge data sets, design experiments, and write the code to implement optimizations based on the results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance, low-latency backend components.
• Work with analysts and scientists to design, implement, and analyze experiments aimed at increasing yield for publishers and improving efficiency for our advertising partners.
• Architect, implement and deliver new features and functionality.
• Work with Engineering and Product teams distributed across multiple locations to drive requirements, and own the projects end-to-end.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of engineering experience with backend languages like Java, Golang, or Erlang
• Excellent communication in written and spoken English
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloudbuild
• Excellent communication in written and spoken English
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline

$115,000 - $135,000 a year

OpenX is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in New York, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, the salary range is $115,00 - $135,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
