Job Description

This role is hybrid remote with 40% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (2-3 days in office per week)

The Data Science Lead will define and executes strategic analytic projects across a range of functional areas related to the PTNA's customer/user journey strategy. This role will work within the PTNA Digital Business team to synthesize raw user data into actionable insights for digital marketing strategy, identify key trends and opportunities via web analytics and campaign analysis, and report findings in a simple, compelling way through stakeholder facing reporting, data visualization, and presentation formats. In addition, this role will take on exploratory data analyses to identify gaps and new opportunities for business impact.

  • Collaborate with the Bosch and Dremel brand marketing teams to gather and analyze audience insights – using web analytics, SEO tools, web crawlers, social listening tools, paid media dashboards, A/B testing, and search trend analysis and primary research methods (survey).
  • Develop and execute measurement/analysis plans in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, make recommendations for scaling campaigns and strategic direction, update reporting templates and assist in analyzing results for internal teams
  • Work with internal teams to identify and standardized digital tagging needs to appropriately track and analyze performance and attribution modeling
  • Deliver strategic exploratory data analyses and insights that are easily understood by marketing, sales
  • Provide recommendations to streamline reporting processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and improving results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, economics, psychology or other relevant graduate degree
  • 3-5 years experience in an web analytics, online marketing or research role
  • Ability to analyze data to make actionable insights
  • Analyze marketing initiatives with the digital marketing realm
  • Prior experience conducting exploratory analysis
  • Ability to work autonomously while still being highly collaborative.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability manage multiple projects with time sense of urgency.
  • Ability to drive consistently high-quality work under tight timeframes
  • Ability to effectively communicate results in a concise manner
