Job Description

We are looking for a senior software engineer having full SDLC experience, exposure to AWS environment, Serverless programming, big data, work collaboratively with onsite and offshore teams. Candidates worked on AI/ML projects or Data Science Model implementations will be a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Development of n-tier systems, development of APIs, microservices, backend coding
  Perform hands-on coding in Python, Flask, REST APIs, shell script, cron jobs.
• Work collaboratively with onsite and offshore teams.
• Provides technical support, after development production support, maintenance of applications.
• Work with lead developers under their guidance and provide mentorship to junior developers

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience in software development and system maintenance
• Demonstrated experience with N-tiered applications, multi-tier architecture
• Experience with multi-threading, memory management, performance tuning,
• Experience in debugging, problem identifications, issue resolutions.
• Proficient and hands on experience in the following technologies: Python, Java, Unix/Linux, Flask, REST, SVN, GIT, AWS, Jenkins, Chef, CodeDeploy
• 1+ years of experience in AWS Serverless, Lambda programming
• Deploy applications on AWS EC2, ECS instances and configured the storage on S3 buckets, setup IAM roles
• Created monitors, alarms, and notifications for AWS systems using CloudWatch .
• Exposure to coding experience with Text extraction, Text analysis programming is desirable.
• 1+ years experience in data and application migration from legacy to AWS systems.
• 1+ year work experience with ElasticSearch to allow faster and scalable searches.
• 2+ years of experience with database technologies like SQL server, PostGreSQL, DynamoDB, Mongo DB, NoSQL etc.
• 1+ years exposure to Big data environment, working on real-time streaming and analytics is a big plus
• Exposure to Hands on experience in Responsive web designs and web development technologies e.g. Python Flask, Angular Js, React Js.
