Job Description

Act as the principal developer in the areas of development lifecycle, including but not limited to: understand business reporting needs, solution design, logical design, translation to physical design, Extract, Transform & Load (“ETL”), report code development, and testing. Provide technical expertise to develop, deploy, and support data analytics solutions and architect’s major components and influence solution design. Conduct reviews of software components that are designed and developed by peers and partners. Collaborate with the quality engineering team to create system test plans and review results after test execution along with user acceptance testing feedback. Develop and enhance software engineering standards, guidelines, and templates for efficient and effective software development processes, in collaboration with teams within IT. Define key technical requirements for solutions with ETL and report query optimization and index planning design, analysis, and tuning. Accelerate IT and business productivity via the expansion of self‐service solutions, sophisticated multi‐dimensional analysis, and the enhancement of analytics capabilities. Provide required technical support including but not limited to: the release of implementations and on‐call support. Lead release management of CI/CD and mature DevOps processes. Ensure that the EDW, data platforms, and analytics tools are available for service level agreement adherence.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience in Sr. Data Engineering or IT occupation.
• 5 years of experience in Extract, Transform & Load (“ETL”) and reports development programs, including in SQL Server, Postgres, and SSIS.
• 5 years of experience in performing complex data analysis, visualization design, technology surveillance and assessments, and provide recommendations.
• 5 years of experience in ETL job orchestration, batch process automation, and lights‐out batch processing in medium to large data warehouse implementations, setup, and optimization of operational data streams using scheduling tools.
• 4 years of experience in Tableau and Power BI dashboard development and administration.
• 4 years of experience in the use of T‐SQL usage patterns to solve common query and reporting problems.

Salary Range:

$108,222.00- $168,000.00

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
