What are the responsibilities of our Quant Researcher

In this role, you will get to:

• Research and develop quantitative models and strategies that generate excess returns and meet investment objectives
• Work closely with peers and the CIO to actively monitor and manage deployed trading strategies
• Collaborate with other researchers and software engineers to optimize investment performance
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to improve investment strategies

Requirements for this role are:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with 2+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and model evaluation
• Strong experiment and research design
• Knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts for data science
• Excellent working knowledge of python
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English) and the ability to work effectively in a team-orientated environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines

Nice to have:

• Experience carrying out quantitative research on time series data
• Experience building, testing, and live trading quantitative strategies
• Knowledge of Equities/Cryptocurrencies/Macroeconomics
• Experience working with Git, Git flow, and Git best practices
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning
