What are the responsibilities of a Data Analytics Manager

In this role, you will get to:

• Recruit top talent of all levels, mentoring junior members and advising senior staff
• Understand company objectives and business needs
• Develop team strategies including action plans in alignment with company directions
• Drive and monitor key performance metrics across the team
• Keep abreast of industry standards and applicable policies
• Work with Senior Management to allocate team resources amongst projects
• Support Business Development team in acquiring client projects
• Ensure team delivers cutting-edge solutions to meet client satisfaction
• Implement best practices for business intelligence and data analytics solutions
• Be resilient and adaptable to changes in a dynamic environment

Requirements for this role are:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Solid background in analytics and statistics
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in data analytics ranging from identifying requirements and formulating hypotheses to deriving insights and providing recommendations
• At least 3 years of experience in leading and/or managing a team of minimum 10 people, including setting goals, conducting performance review and developing training plan for team members
• Experience in technical proposal, man-day estimation and resource management
• Familiarity using data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of R and SAS will be an advantage
