WHAT TO EXPECT

This role will see you lead the Claim Management analysis and analytics of the issues that impact our customers. You will be able to deliver the key insights into the data around claims (including warranty, goodwill, roadside and more) to key stakeholders to drive actions within JLR.

Further, you will lead in the development of Machine Learning models to aid the wider team in the control of claims payments to ensure that they are not over paid.

You will also assist in the management and control of the Claims Management data sets to ensure Data Governance is followed by our customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely within the Customer Care Operations area and wider to identify issues and use Claim data to propose solutions for effective decision making
• Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate and extract data to assist in the reduction of claim spend and supply tailored reports
• Knowledge and experience in machine learning and modelling skills (e.g. regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, random forest, boosting trees, etc) using SQL, Python, sklearn, xgboost etc.
• ML-Ops experience including model monitoring, model retraining, model deployment, and model inference with automation pipelines using modern ML-Ops tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, H2O etc)
• Development and maintain the KPIs for Global Warranty Operations / Systems
• Develop and maintain clear reporting Dashboards
• Lead insights into trends observed, providing drill down into the impacts on KPIs
• Provide support and assistance to identify Data Errors and ensure that appropriate focus is put on understanding and fixing root cause of any data issues and specific data gaps
• Manage the development and access control of the Claims Management Enterprise Data Warehouse with the JLR Digital departments
• Project Manage required data changes to the Claims Management views, and conduct testing where required before introduction to production
• Assist in data management best practices and governance, as required
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:

• Previous experience of Data Analysis
• Experience of statistical tools and analysis
• Cloud computing platform experience (AWS, Azure, ideally GCP)
• REST API development experience
• Experience and knowledge of Big Query,
• Experience and knowledge of Analytics and visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Business Objects
• Previous experience and knowledge of various data management tools
• Excellent level of ability to structure, analyse/ interpret data 
• High level of IT literacy 
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

Desirable:

•  Experience with Claims data (Warranty, Goodwill, etc)
