Job Description

We need to expand our research team in the Future Technology department with focus on system solutions and future needs for electronic warfare systems especially in the fighter jet domain. You will be a part of our growing research team and work in close collaboration with other parts in the organization. Responsibility will primarily be to contribute with quality research and investigations in order to define technologies and systems for the next generation of fighter jets.

The main tasks are:

• Perform studies and research
• Write technical reports
• Contribute in discussions with research teams
• Stay updated in the electronic warfare domain

At Future Technology you will be part of a very competent and cross-functional team. We work with additive manufacturing (AM), machine learning (AI /ML), Business Intelligence (BI) etc. which creates a very innovative and future driven work environment. The workplace for this position is located at our office in Järfälla just outside Stockholm.

Your profile

It is important to be passionate about research and to have a genuine interest for future technology and especially within the electronic warfare domain. As person you need to be analytical, problem solver, collaborative, positive attitude and goal oriented. Required skills:

• Master degree or PhD in Applied Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Data Science or similiar
• Problem solver
• System architecture and system design
• Defence competence
• Experience from coding Matlab or similar
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

Desired skills:

• Signal processing
• Radar technology
• Experience in computing
• Writing technical reports
• Experience form international collaboration projects

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
