Job Description

Olaris is hiring multiple high-performing, motivated individuals for summer internships from May-August 2023.

The Role

Successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to work on projects within the Data Science function such as:

• Data Processing, analysis of molecular data, and interpretation of results
• Developing API-based solutions for integration with external tools and repositories
• Implementing backend databases
• Coding and refactoring of existing codes
• Integrating various data types into harmonized and actionable data sets
• Working closely with the lab teams in the analysis and validation of Olaris NMR & MS outputs

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of, a B.S. or M.S. program in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work on-site in our Framingham office.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in using R scripting language
• Strong understanding of advanced statistical approaches, ability to apply statistical analysis techniques
• Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, work well in a team, and learn quickly
• Metabolomics knowledge
