Job Description

Olaris is looking for an individual to join a team responsible for the start-to-finish work on the analysis and interpretation of Olaris' metabolomics platform. This candidate will be responsible for the full-stack implementation of Olaris data analytics pipelines, as well as support the refactoring of currently deployed pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Back/Front-end developer for ETL, RPA, data analytics, and visualization processes
• Refactoring of existing codes aiming accessibility, simplification, runtime optimization and automation
• Implement backend databases to support data management and access
• Define and implement DevOps best practices
• Continuously evaluate and, when applicable, deploy novel technologies
• Develop API-based solutions to allow a seamlessly integration with external tools and repositories
• Clearly communicate highly technical deliverables and technologies to non-technical audiences

Qualifications

• Computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics or related field with 3+ years of experience, or MS in related field with 1+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in working with programming language R
• Experiencing in creating and managing R-libraries is a plus.
• Experience with Data Science front-end technologies
• Working familiarity with Python
• Proficiency in working in a UNIX environment
• Proven ability to independently develop a full stack data analytics project
• Hands-on experience in relational/non-relational databases
• Working experience with Azure is a plus
• Ability to efficiently work in multiple projects
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborating with a team
