Reporting to the EVP, Chief Quality Officer, the Vice President/Chief Data Officer (CDO) will develop and execute an Enterprise Intelligence Strategy comprised of a strategically aligned data governance model, robust data analytics, and transformation of data into actionable information. The CDO will ensure these tools and resources are effectively invested to create sustained impact on quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes. The CDO will also support the development and use of advanced tools to advance the customer experience, as well as support Children's Mercy's research and innovation strategies. The CDO will foster an anticipatory, forward thinking culture that creates predictive applications for data as we advance the clinical, operational, and financial advancement of the organization. CDO will work closely with our clinical leaders to solve clinical solutions by bringing data to their partnership discussion.
