Job Description

A Data Scientist II is responsible for discovering insights, identifying opportunities, modeling complex health issues, and communicating findings through the use of computational mathematics and statistics, data mining and advanced visualization techniques. This role is also proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied data sets and computing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables and presentations.
  • Partner with department stakeholders to provide thought leadership, identify and document project analytics requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Communicate results and measure improvement of analytics projects.
  • Discovers emerging analytic techniques and applies them to the business.
  • Promotes standards and best practices for advanced data analysis and analytics through the organization

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree preferred and 1-2 years experience in healthcare data and/or data science or
    • Bachelor's Degree In Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, computer science or related field preferred and 3-5 years experience in healthcare data and/or data science

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $39.22/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
