Bell’s ideal Sr. Project Specialist is persistent and agile, detail-oriented and able to see the big picture, persuasive and able to collaborate with others. She or he will work in partnership with leaders and subject matter experts across the company to shape the future of Bell by influencing the organization to take the necessary steps required to maximize our likelihood of winning Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs.

As FVL efforts progress, she or he will work with stakeholders to ensure resources, focus, messaging and priorities are aligned throughout the enterprise. Work scope spans across all functions and domains, requiring the ability to learn and to build relationships quickly.

This position is based at Bell’s Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Project planning, prioritization, and assessment
  • Develop and manage the foundational data for successful capture actions supporting military business development activities and sales campaigns
  • Coordinate FVL enterprise readiness activities across functions and disciplines
  • Communicate with company leadership and other stakeholders using written, visual, and verbal channels and appropriate tactics for each situation
  • Data collection and transcription from internal and external resources, analyzing Request for Proposals (RFP), Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), Request for Information (RFI), and other open source resources
  • Learn and adapt to evolving circumstances, such as new customer requirements, changing schedules, and senior leadership direction

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business, Engineering or related field

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management to include risk management, supply chain, military operations, or engineering.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills – statistics, modeling, simulation, data visualization
  • Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity, and to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly how teams and organizations operate, including their formal and informal processes
  • Detail-oriented and persistent
  • Experience with business case development for strategic pursuits
  • Excellent communication skills using a variety of channels (written, visual, verbal, etc.), including creativity in using and developing communication tactics
  • Comfortable working and communicating at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership team
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Experience with creating and executing cross-functional and inter-disciplinary project plans

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Stakeholder/ influence mapping
  • Understanding of vertical lift aircraft and missions
  • Prior experience gathering Global Military Marketing Data Intelligence
  • Aerospace or Defense industry
