Job Description

• Our finance IT consists of a team of 9 and ensures optimal IT support for controlling and accounting at Eurofins in Germany.
• Our team consists of the support area, which takes care of all user inquiries, such as granting access rights and administrative tasks, and the small Sprint team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining tools.

For the latter, we are looking for a Consultant IT Application Development & Data Science (m/f/d) with the following tasks as soon as possible:

• Implementation of (sub-)projects on topics of process automation, BI, etc.
• Creation and further development of database queries & automation scripts (SQL / Python / ATLAS)
• Development and further development of Excel-based tools (formulas / PIVOT / VBA)
• Server maintenance
• Process consulting & optimization
• Independent advice from and cooperation with users
• Interdisciplinary work with, among others, global IT, controlling, purchasing, warehousing, general ledger and laboratories

qualifications

Must haves:

• Studies in the field of business informatics, economics with a focus on IT or a similar qualification
• Alternatively completed training in IT / finance & experience in the areas of database, ERP systems, BI, business reporting / project work
• Experience with databases and/or ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 is a plus)
• Very good knowledge of SQL and VBA, especially Python
• Experience in using Windows Bash Script
• Confident communication in German and English
• Analytical, conceptual & creative thinking skills
• Solution-oriented and independent execution of tasks
• Proactive way of communicating and interest in economic contexts
